SeaBird is located in Placencia Village in Belize. The peninsula in Southern Belize, Palencia, is known for breathtaking beaches with crystal clear blue water and white sand. When you’re not enjoying swing, snorkeling, or paddle boarding in these gorgeous waters, you can find and purchase exquisite artwork from the renowned Placencia sidewalk. For a quick break, you can head to one of the many amazing restaurants to enjoy the local cuisine in the vicinity of this luxury housing community in Placencia.

What is the closest airport to SeaBird properties?

Placencia Municipal Airstrip is the closest airport to SeaBird properties. You can catch flights on Tropic Air or Maya Island Air from Belize City. The light from Belize City to Placencia is only 40 minutes, so you can start your begin your entertainment on the day you land.

How easy is it to purchase real estate in Belize?

Purchasing real estate in Belize is simple and secure. Belize is a British Commonwealth member, and its legal system is based on British law, so there are no hurdles for foreign investment. Moreover, Belize has no inheritance taxes or capital gains.

Can foreigners own land in Belize?

Yes, foreign nationals can own property in Belize, and they have equal property rights in Belize as local citizens. 

How do you buy land in Belize?

You must submit a purchase offer in the form a deposit that’s held in escrow. After due diligence, the buyer and seller must sign a purchase agreement, transferring the remaining purchase balance. Next, you will receive a “Land Certificate” (your title) by the Belize Government, acknowledging you as the new property owner.

Who will care for the property?

At SeaBird, we want all property in our luxury housing community in Placencia, Belize, to be in pristine condition, even if the owners are not present for a long time. Therefore, we have employed a company called JAC Property Management of Belize to manage all of the properties, including landscape management. As a result, you can be sure that your luxury beach house is exactly how you left it when you return after some time.

Who are the builders and developers?

We have employed a Belizean company called Beeline Belize, LTD, to develop SeaBird Belize. The team at Beeline Belize has access to the latest technology and resources to ensure your house is built well and to your specifications. 

How can we be sure the project will be completed?

We understand that there are many unfinished projects in Belize. However, you don’t have to worry about that with us. Our project is already 100% funded and is not tied to banks and lenders. So, it will be completed.
