Most flights around the globe land at Belize International Airport. From there it’s a 2 hour drive or 30 minute flight to Placencia. Here are the two airlines with hourly flights from Belize International to Placencia:

Placencia village is just a few miles from Seabird. A few miles the North of Seabird are several restaurants and resorts. Making Seabird the ideal location on the peninsula to get around by bike or golf cart. For excursions off the peninsula, you’ll need to rent a car.

There are several grocery stores in the village. Top Value grocery is roughly 3 miles from Seabird and provides all the essential items for your stay. Across the street is a local pharmacy. Throughout the village you’ll find several vegetable and fruit stands with fresh local flavors.

Placencia's main street is just a sliver of boardwalk that winds through the village. Legend has it that the Sidewalk was built for a local bishop whose soft feet couldn't handle the beach terrain. Today’s this 2+ mile stretch is home to local shops, bars, and restaurants.
